The speed and power of the 48 Super Sport confirm her racy good looks.

Under the hull, twin-lifting strakes straighten the waterflow over the rudders for excellent tracking ability. Double chines stabilize her in slop and chop, helping to keep her dry forward.

Twin CAT 3196 (660 BHP) diesels drive the Ocean 48 Super Sport to 30+ knots. With optional powerplants she will approach the 40-knot barrier.

Teak cover boards, padded coamings,cockpit controls, stereo speakers, large tackle and side lockers, a bait center with freezer, fresh-water sink, fresh and sea-water washdowns are standard on the Ocean 48 Super Sport. A transom door with hinged gate and engine-room access are, too. A live circulating baitwell, a refrigerated fishbox, and fighting chair are options.
