Bridge Features
Enclosed Bridge
The 65 Odyssey’s fully enclosed, climate-controlled
flybridge offers protection from inclement weather. Spacious, it is almost
as large as the salon in our smaller Super Sports. Standard amenities include
an L-lounge with table, a wet bar, a refrigerator/icemaker combo, TV with
DVD player, ample storage, and Corian® countertops. An interior spiral
stairway offers safe, secure passage from the bridge to the salon. Visibility
is excellent at all points of the compass. Through the sliding aluminum
door, one walks onto the spacious aft sundeck with a standard L-lounge.
Under the extended bridge-hardtop overhang, an outside steering station
with standard electronic controls facilitates close-quarters handling.
Behind the steering station, there is room for an optional storage cabinet
with range-top.
Console
The enclosed bridge is fully instrumented. Standard
features include a Pompanette “Prestige Series” helmsman and
companion chair, single-lever electronic controls, and a superior electronics
area.
Sundeck
The 65 Odyssey includes a spacious sundeck area. Here, Ocean
voyagers will enjoy the outdoors in perfect comfort, shaded by the flybridge’s
overhang. Two underdeck compartments are capacious, increasing the yacht’s
storage capacity. Molded-in steps lead to a fiberglass swim platform and
ladder. Port and starboard cockpit doors provide safe and easy dockside
access.
