Like her sister ships, the 73 SS has an evolved planing hull. With it, Oceans are quite possibly the best roughwater yachts ever produced in their class. They can remain at cruising speed, in difficult seas, and not take a beating. While foul weather may keep most other sportfishermen at the dock, ours are running for the offshore canyons – and big-game fish.
The 73 Super Sport is capable of 30+ knots with standard diesel engines. Optional powerplants are available for those wanting even more power.
While the 73 Super Sport was conceived as a luxury yacht for offshore fishing and long-range cruising, many captains we know prefer a more direct sportfishing or on-the-water experience. They relish the sun and salt air as their yacht speeds toward the canyons or distant ports of call.
For them, Ocean has designed an open flybridge option incorporating a custom hardtop with EZ2CY enclosure. Here, captains and bridge guests will enjoy the extraordinary light and unhampered view – protected from wind and unwelcome weather conditions.
Removing the enclosed interior stairway of the 73 SS’s enclosed flybridge model alters the yacht’s main-deck plan. The open flybridge model has a correspondingly open salon-dinette-galley area. In its airiness, it evokes the casual atmosphere of the “country kitchen.” The amenities found on both standard and optional flybridge versions are unsurpassed in a production yacht.
Whether you prefer the enclosed flybridge or the optional open version, the 73 Super Sport is a yacht of exceptional luxury. It possesses a breathtaking capacity to please.
Oceans are backed by a transferable Five-Year Limited Structural Hull Warranty.
